Avalon University School of Medicine is proud to have affiliated with Northwest Suburban College in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. As partners, students are allowed to complete the Pre-Medicine Program at NSC, conveniently located twelve miles outside of Chicago. After completing twenty months of the Pre-Medicine curriculum at NSC, students are awarded an Associate of Science degree in Biology. These ninety credit hours are fully transferable and accepted as a prerequisite to be qualified and eligible for admission into Avalon University’s MD Program.

The Premedical Sciences years of the Premed/MD Program incorporate basic undergraduate courses in reading, writing and mathematics with the necessary science foundation courses for a well-rounded education. The Premedical Sciences curriculum is designed to give a firm foundation for the accelerated, advanced studies offered later in the Medical Sciences years (MD Program).
This is a rewarding program for highly motivated students, which involves four semesters of focused pre-medical studies.

Students successfully completing the Pre-med coursework as listed above will automatically gain advancement into the 4 year MD Program.
